Funny how the silence could remind me of you
After all these time throwing you out of my head
Take a look at my empty heart, where the loneliness grew
I don't know how I could miss the one I hate

My heart beats so slow, it is calling your name
But I prefer being here wanting you more and more
Than being thrown all over and hurt again
I truly wonder what you really take me for

     Keep me trying so hard to figure out what you want      
     You took all I get, took it with you,
     Darling you colored me red, then leave me blue.

You can make this love tastes so bittersweet
The sweet sticky words now taste like medicine
Higher than the clouds, lower than my feet
You make me realize how foolish I have been
